When you reserve a Chef’s Table experience in the Lobby Bar & Grill, you embark on a true culinary adventure. Enjoyed right in the restaurant's kitchen alongside The Brown Hotel's Chef de Cuisine Paul Crepey, these special five-course prix fixe experiences give guests an opportunity to dine in the Hotel's main kitchen while enjoying a lively conversation with Chef Paul on topics ranging from ingredients, wine and cooking techniques to the art of making five-star cuisine.
The Lobby Bar & Grill Features Two Uniquely Different Chef's Tables
The seven-course Classic Chef's Table, a Louisville tradition known as "the ultimate dining experience," is a gastronomic indulgence. The minimum number of guests to reserve the Chef's Table is four and the maximum is six. Diners view the work on the kitchen line—guests are encouraged to walk the line to inspect the offerings from the culinary staff, making the celebration an even more enjoyable event. Business event attendees, guests celebrating birthdays, couples celebrating anniversaries and visiting dignitaries have all been guests of the Classic Chef's Table. The seven-course meal is prepared with wine pairings from the English Grill's Sommelier.

We are pleased to announce the Winter and Spring Tea dates for 2026 and would be honored to have you join us once again for a lovely afternoon of delicious, house made sweet treats and sandwiches in our stunning lobby dining area.
COST: $54 per person (plus tax and gratuity). This includes a three tiered tray of tea sandwiches and sweet options as well as tea. Wine and cocktails are not included but will be available for purchase.
PARTY SIZE: We are able to accommodate parties of up to 8 guests at one table. Larger parties will be placed at multiple tables near each other.

ORIN SWIFT WINE DINNER
Thursday January 29th at 6:30pm
Join us for an exclusive Orin Swift wine dinner, featuring a special guest speaker from the Orin Swift team. The event will be hosted in our illustrious formal dining room at the Lobby Bar & Grill on the second floor of the Brown Hotel. It will feature a personally curated, five-course, prix fixe menu from our own Chef Paul Crepey and Pastry Chef Christina Jones. Please reach out to sbattcher@brownhotel.com today to secure your seats at the event. The full experience is priced at $125 per person, plus 6% KY sales tax and 20% gratuity. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated if relayed in advance, please note any restrictions when securing your reservation. We would love to host everyone that is interested in attending, although it is recommending that all guests be 21 years or older to appreciate the full experience.
PRINCESS TEA
Sunday February 1st, at 12:00pm & 2:00pm
Please join us for our 2026 inaugural Princess Tea for an exciting afternoon with kid friendly treats and sandwiches paired alongside Hot Chocolate w/toppings or Tea. We also have a surprise winter princess joining us for the event!!
COST: $54 per person (plus tax and gratuity). This includes a three tiered tray of kid friendly treats, tea sandwiches and Hot Chocolate w/toppings as or tea. Wine and cocktails are not included but will be available for purchase.

PARKING: We offer complimentary valet parking at the front of the hotel. Your server will validate your parking pass at the table. We are not able to validate parking for the parking garage.
