"It marks the first time I have ever given a Louisville eatery Four Stars in all three review categories. Such a rating implies as close to perfection as a restaurant can come, and that's exactly the dining experience friends and I enjoyed. Each entree was a sonata on a plate. A simply exquisite dinner." -Courier Journal - "Perfection is Possible"

The Brown Hotel is now one of the outstanding contemporary hotels of the south or anywhere else in the U.S. and its English Grill has emerged as one of the finest restaurants. -John Mariani - Food Columnist for Esquire Magazine and Wine Spectator
